It was a great honor and privilege to work with youtube to celebrate Asian American Pacific Islander month by creating this illustration for Mayuko Inoue, a Japanese-American content creator & software engineer. I’ve been living in the United States for 10 years now and have had to experience many obstacles in order to get where I am today, so to be included in this celebration of AAPHM only makes me more motivated and excited about the future for me and other individuals who have a similar story.
