Coloring book spread for Minneapolis Mutual Aid coloring book
I created this spread illustration for the Minneapolis Mutual Aid coloring book. The book was 48 pages of colorable artwork contributed by local artists. There’s a wide range of styles throughout, and I ended up designing my spread to land on the slightly more challenging side—something that older kids could enjoy spending time with.

I wanted the illustration to feel like a little story—full of fun details to discover while coloring. I also made sure it includes thoughtful representations of diversity and a sense of welcome, which are things I always try to bring into my work.
